That is, pores appear smaller, fine lines are significantly reduced and the skin feels soft and is considerably smoother. Independent studies have shown that: 1.Results can be achieved in just one week of treatment 2.85% of the subjects saw an improvement in skin texture 3.73% observed a reduction in fine lines 4.71% reported their pores looked smaller Contraindications: The official site for this product, does not say very much about contraindications for this system. An official presentation has stated that this product is suitable for all skin types; in light of this statement, it seems like not enough information has been given on this product and thus concrete conclusions cannot be drawn with regard to the Mary Kay's Timewise kit in terms of contraindications and side effects. Verdict: Due to the lack of literature on this product, it will be difficult to make any verdicts on the Mary Kay's Timewise microdermabrasion home system kit. Some consumers have said (posted web comments) that: 1.The system is an excellent product - it exfoliates dead cells and diminishes fine lines 2.The replenish cream is very light and not oily, sticky or greasy, thus leaving the skin smooth, with a healthy glow 3.Most of the consumers advise every other day use for optimum results In summary this system may be a good choice for home microdermabrasion but it would help if more published literature reviews were made available to members of the public so that a general consensus about the product can be made. With this in view, it would seem appropriate to ask professionals (e.g. Dermatologists, Salon beauticians etc.)
